Rozina Gilani-Salim Ms. Gilani-Salim is a partner at Azam Chandran & Gilani LLP with a practice focusing on corporate, real estate, franchise law, estate planning and immigration.

In her voluntary capacity, Ms Gilani-Salim currently serves as His Highness the Aga Khan’s representative in the State of Illinois under the Agreement of Cooperation. She previously served as the Honorary Secretary and also served as a Legal Chairperson on the Ismaili Council for Midwestern USA in addition to serving in other volunteer capacities for the past 11 years. In the summer of 2014, Ms. Gilani-Salim traveled to Kampala, Uganda in a voluntary capacity to serve as a Legal and Regulatory Affairs Attorney.

Born in Chicago, Ms. Gilani-Salim has a BSc from DePaul University and obtained her JD from John Marshall Law School in 2005 at which time she also worked as a licensed 711 for the State of Illinois. She has previously served as the President for the Muslim Law Student Association at John Marshall and as the Judicial Committee Chair for the Indian American Bar Association.

Ms. Gilani-Salim was born and raised in Chicago where she met her husband, Mohammed.  They have two sons, Daniyal and Eshaan who they hope will grow up to be modest, compassionate individuals who will always have a notion of service and giving back to the community.
